Description
8/1/23 - This is a nice example of a rare Walther Mod HP that originally manufactured to be sold in the commercial market in the 1940's, and then diverted for issue to the Nazi military. The gun is all matching and has an "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the slide. The entire gun has a dark "dipped" finish, and there is an electro-penciled serial number on the slide, indicating this gun likely ended up in East Germany after the war. There is very little finish loss. However, there are some light scratches along the right side of the slide and areas of pin-pricking on the left side of the slide and on the front strap. Fitted with excellent period-correct blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there are tiny pits throughout. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
