Description

8/18/23 - This is a very nice example of an AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 85% of its original finish loss. Nearly all of the finish loss is on the front strap, where there is also some spotty oxidation. The profile views are minty. The frame has a really nice plum-colored finish. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish bakelite grips. Comes with a jvd magazine. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
