Description

10/10/23 - This is a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in September of 1944. All matching with the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an asterisk marking on the slide as well, indicating it failed initial inspection and was repaired at the factory. This is a desirable trait for collectors. The finish rates about 93%. There is minor thinning on the front strap and minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges of the slide. Fitted with period-correct bakelite grips and comes with a period-correct jvd magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout. De-cocker is functional.
