10/4/23 - This is a rare Simson Luger, manufactured in the 1920's. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 6" Simson proofs throughout There is an "A.S.434." unit marking on the front strap, indicating it was issued to the Artillery School. There are initials "CKR" lightly stamped into the left side of the frame. The bluing rates roughly 60% with obvious spotty wear and splotchy discoloration throughout, concentrated mostly on the left side of the gun and on the grip straps. Some small pits on the grip straps as well. Fitted with excellent but mismatched wood grips. Comes with a mismatched but correct Simson magazine. The rifling in the bore is worn with pitting throughout. Fitted with excellent but mismatched wood grips. Comes with an authentic Simson magazine that was re-numbered later - not matching.
