Description

11/13/23 - This is a nice example of a Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in about February of 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military acceptance proofs throughout. The top plate has been replaced. It has retained roughly 85% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, but there is spotty discoloration on the barrel which we believe has been touched up with cold-blue. Fitted with period-correct bakelite grips and comes with an "Eagle 359" marked Walther magazine. Very nice bore with great rifling. De-cocker is functional.
