Description

12/7/23 - This is a nice IBM M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. The barrel is IBM-marked and dated 10-43. "IO" marked Inland stock with a cross-canon cartouche and "H" marking on the right side of the butt stock. The top of the barrel near the front sight appears to have been milled. There is very little actual finish loss on the metal parts, but there is brown patina under the finish throughout. Overall, the wood is pretty nice, but there is a small chip in the upper hand guard and a rectangular cut-out on the left side of the stock, up against the receiver. Excellent bore.
