Description
12/7/23 - This is a a Winchester M1 Garand from about June of 1943. This particular gun was sent to an arsenal after the war and was converted from .30-06 to 7.62 or .308. The barrel is marked H&R. The breech bolt and trigger group are Winchester marked. No proofs on the stock, just a "22" white painted rack number on the butt stock. The finish on the metal parts rates roughly 85% with general high edge wear, some scratches along the barrel, and thinning on the floor plate. The wood shows the typical signs of wear and use - minor dings and bruises throughout. Near-mint bore.Specifications
