11/22/24 - This is a very interesting .22 Colt ACE 1911 from 1932. This particular gun has the proper Colt ACE logo, but it has a very unique frame form-factor with curved grip straps and curved wood grips. It comes with a Colt factory letter that states this gun was shipped to Phil B Bekeart Co in San Francisco on July 2, 1932. There is no other information or notes on this gun's peculiar design. We've reached out to several Colt experts and even the Colt factory, and no one was able to provide any information on this gun. So a one-of-kind gun indeed! In any case, we believe it has been re-blued with almost no finish loss. Fitted with really nice hand-checkered wood grips. Fitting for this gun, it comes with a unique .22 Caliber magazine. Mint bore.
