Description

12/26/23 - This is a very nice Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper FJA initials, and has a cross-canon military cartouche. Correct High Standard barrel. The original finish rates about 94% with general high edge wear, very minor thinning on the front strap, and some small handling marks here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with an "R" marked magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling with tiny pitting throughout.
