1/16/24 - This is a nice example of an early Winchester Model 1894 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1896 and chambered in .38-55 WCF. It is matching and has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious brown patina covering all of the metal parts. Excellent wood furniture, especially for its age. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pitting throughout. Fully functional. This is an antique, so no FFL required.
