Description

2/5/24 - This is a nice example of a JP Sauer K98 Rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1941. The gun is all matching, including the stock, and has the proper waffen military proofs. The chamber is dated 1941 and has a script "CE" Sauer factory code. The finish on the metal parts rates roughly 60% with spotty discoloration and patina on most of the parts. The wood stock is nice overall, but there are a couple of noticeable scratches on the left side. Generally, the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is a very slight bulge in the barrel a few inches down - it is barely noticeable. The gun comes with an original front sight hood, cleaning rod, and sling.
