3/25/24 - This is a beautiful example of a rare Walther PP that was part of a small SS Contract in 1944. It is considered a Fourth Variant in Tom's "SS Contract Walther PP/PPK" book and is discussed starting on page 99. This one comes with a numbered magazine in the same SS serial range, but it is not matching. It is fitted with scarce reddish bakelite grips, same as the other known examples in this range. This one also comes with original copies of the WW2 capture documents. The gun has retained virtually all of its original finish but has small casting flaws along the right side of the slide. Mint bore.
