Description
8/22/24 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Model 1914 with a very interesting history. It is all matching and Imperial-proofed on the slide, indicating it was issued to an Imperial German officer during WWI. It was then used during WWII, as evidenced by the original 1945-dated capture document that lists this gun by serial number. It comes to us as a rig with one rounded Mauser-marked magazine, one square-bottom magazine, and a scarce Ersatz paper holster. The gun itself has retained about 98% with just minor muzzle wear, a few tiny pits on the left side of the gun, and very light freckling on the front strap. Fitted with an excellent period-correct one-piece wood grip. The bore has great rifling, but there is very light pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
