Description
4/8/24 - This is an excellent example of a Harrington & Richardson "Reising" Model 65-H, chambered in .22 LR. Manufactured from 1944-1946 for the US Marine Corps, the Reising Model 65 is a blowback operated semi-automatic rifle designed to emulate the weight and sight picture of the U.S. M1 Garand Rifle and was used by the United States Marine Corps as a training weapon. This one has an early serial number and falls into the USMC range. It has retained nearly all of its parkerized finish, but there is light spotty brown patina here and there (typical for these finishes). Excellent wood stock. Mint bore. Comes with four original magazines and a green canvas sling.Specifications
