Description

7/25/24 - This is a minty example of a rare 1939 Mauser Luger that was initially issued to the Nazi military and then diverted to the police force. The gun is all matching, has "Eagle 63" military proofs, and an added police sear safety. It comes as a rig with one original matching-numbered magazine, one mismatched magazine, and an excellent 1937-dated tan leather police holster. The holster has a police unit number on the back, but it is not matching to the gun. The gun has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle and a few tiny spots of discoloration on the grip straps. Fitted with minty matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor frosting in the grooves.
