Description

5/15/24 - This is a super rare Mauser P.38 in excellent condition, one of only ~2,850 ever produced. It's a dual-tone pistol with 'ac 44' marked slide but Mauser proofed frame, indicating slide was produced at FN factory and assembly completed there. It's all matching with the proper "Waffen 135" Mauser proofs. It has retained about 95% of its original finish with minor thinning on the front strap and very minor high edge wear. Fitted with period-correct black plastic grips. Comes with a proper "Waffen 135" marked Mauser magazine. The bore has strong rifling and is mostly shiny, but there is very light freckling. De-cocker is functional.
