Description

5/15/24 - This is a very rare and desirable Nazi Walther P.38 from 1940. Referred to as the "ac no date", there were only about 2,500 of these produced, and this one is in the correct serial range. There's only about 50 reported examples known. The numbered parts on this one match but the full barrel assembly is not numbered, including the locking block. It has retained roughly half of its original high polish finish with obvious wear throughout and some areas of pin-pricking on the slide and on the front strap. Fitted with matching-numbered and waffen-proofed grips. Comes with a proper double "Eagle 359" proofed magazine, but it is mismatched. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there is pin-pricking in the grooves. De-cocker is functional.
