Description
12/4/20 - This is a very rare and desirable Nazi Walther P.38 from 1940. Referred to as the "ac no date", there were only about 2,500 of these produced, and this one is in the correct serial range. There's only about 50 reported examples known. This particular gun was refinished or Russian dipped at some point, and there is a postwar police mark that was peened off the left side of the frame. In all original condition/configuration, these go for $5000-7000. You'll see some freckling in a few areas, especially the right side of the slide. Proper mechanics, including the de-cocker. Grips are matching to the gun (155). Early magazine with two E/359 proofs on spine, but likely a police unit electro - penciled some numbers into the spine. Bore has strong rifling but minor frost and freckling in the grooves. Overall a very rare gun at a price far below one that is all original finish.Specifications
