Description

5/30/24 - This is a first year production Walther Model PP from 1929. Production started at serial #750000, so this gun was the 1,434th gun made. The parts appear to be all original, with the exception of the magazine bottom and the safety lever. The magazine tube is correct, but the bottom should be the "slab side" bottom. The safety lever is the 60 degree variation, and not the 90 degree. The safety feature DOES work properly however, including the de-cocker. The original finish rates at about 92 - 94%. Early features include the covered firing pin, the placement of the crown N proofs, the reversed serial number, weighted grips and slightly extended barrel. The bore is excellent, rating a 9 out of 10. The serial number etched inside the slide matches the frame. A rare and excellent find!
