11/25/24 - For sale is an excellent Walther Model PP pistol made in 1929. This example has many of the very early PP features like the Fat 90 degree safety, heavy hammer, a flipped serial number, x-backed grips, slightly extended barrel, and the slab grip magazine. The pistol has a very nice high polished bluing throughout. There are minor scratches on the slide and the barrel has a few spots of finish loss. The heavy hammer and fat 90-degree safety have a hint of a fire-blued finish remaining. The grips are clean and correct with the x support on the back, but the right grip has a repaired crack. The magazine base grip is free of cracks but has some slight wear. This pistol has matching numbers on the frame and slide. The bore is bright with great rifling, but there is pitting and oxidation visible about 1 inch from the muzzle.
