Description

6/24/24 - This is a beautiful example of a scarce commercial S&W Model 1917 Revolver, chambered in .45 Caliber. These guns lack "US Property" markings and are much less common then the military versions. This one has retained nearly all of its original high polish finish with just minor high edge wear on the top strap and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with minty hand-checkered Walnut grips - the right panel is numbered and matching. The bore is factory-new.
