Description

7/1/24 - This is a nice example of an Ithaca / Remington 1911A1. The slide was made by Ithaca and the frame was made by Remington Rand. From the serial number on the frame, it was manufactured in 1945. For some reason, the serial number and inspection initials on the frame have been reapplied. High Standard barrel. The finish rates roughly 80% with fairly even thinning throughout. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips. Comes with a post-war commercial magazine. Excellent bore.
