6/19/24 - This is a Colt Model 1878 Frontier Six Shooter, manufactured in 1899 and chambered in .44-40. 7.5 inch barrel. It has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is along the barrel and on the grip straps. There is also obvious spotty oxidation throughout. Fitted with proper black hard rubber grips. The bore is mostly shiny with great rifling, but there are some spots of minor surface oxidation.
