Description
7/9/24 - This is an excellent example of a rare all-phosphate Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 135" military proofs. These all-phosphate byf 44 guns are rare as only about 2,000 were made. The phosphate finish makes it difficult to rate, but we estimate it has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is minor thinning on the front strap, minor wear on the high edges of the slide, and some minor discoloration in the finish here and there (typical for phosphate finishes). Fitted with black plastic grips and comes with a rare, end-of-war, all-phosphate, "u" marked magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is not functional.Specifications
