Description
12/20/17 - This is a rare Mauser P.38 from 1944, as it has phosphated slide, frame and barrel. Typically these pistols are considered dual-tone, as the barrel is almost always blued. While we say "all phosphate", the safety and takedown lever are late-war blued. The gun is all matching and original, with some finish loss on either side of the slide and on the high edges. Late-war black plastic grips. While dated '44', I believe this may have been put together in 1945. The magazine has a phosphate bottom and phosphate ribbed follower. Also 'U' marked - a rare 1945 magazine.
