Description

7/17/24 - This is a nice example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It was sold to the American public through the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). It comes with its original CMP Certificate of Authenticity, owners manual, CMP Pelican-style case, gun lock, and one post-war magazine. The gun has a replaced barrel. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its finish with honest wear. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips with white painted rack numbers. Mint bore.
