Description

7/25/24 - This is a very nice example of a Colt 1911 issued to the US military in 1918. It is all correct and has a proper "H P" barrel. It comes as a rig with two period-correct two-tone magazines, a nice Boyt leather holster (with original leather lanyard), a light khaki-colored canvas belt, and a 1918-dated canvas magazine pouch. The gun itself has retained about 90-92% of its original bluing. There is general minor high edge wear and some very minor thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
