Description
8/6/24 - This is a very nice example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has a cross-cannon military cartouche, and has the proper "FJA" inspector initials. This one also has a scarce 2nd variation slide and is in the proper serial range for this variation. Fitted with a WW2-era Springfield barrel. It has retained about 95% of its finish with some thinning and light freckling on the front strap with light surface scuffs throughout. Fitted with correct reddish plastic grips. Near-mint bore.Specifications
