10/2/24 - This is a nice example of a scarce Hungarian Femaru 29M, predecessor of the 37M. About 50,000 were made between 1929-35 and all were made for the military - military acceptance proof on the trigger guard. This particular gun is all matching and has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is spotty wear along the slide, concentrated mostly around the muzzle and around the high edges. Some thinning and light spotty oxidation on the back strap. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips - just very minor bruising. Comes with one proper "29M" marked magazine. The rifling in the bore is just slightly worn with light pin-pricking throughout.
