10/8/24 - 1940 Kriegfhoff Lugers are very rare. Most of the Krieghoff's you find are S Code, 1936 or 1937. After that, they become very scarce, with only about 1,000 of them made in 1940. This one is matching and has been completely professionally restored - shows virtually no signs of wear. Both the magazine and frame have been re-numbered to match. It comes with a matching-numbered magazine, but it is not authentic. Fitted with period-correct reddish bakelite Krieghoff grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable frosting in the grooves.
