Description
10/11/24 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, has the proper military acceptance proof on the left side of the frame, and is "United States Property" marking on the underside of the barrel. It's original bluing rates somewhere between 85-90%. The majority of the finish loss comes from wear around the muzzle and thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct grips that are numbered but mismatched. The majority of the bore is shiny with strong rifling, but there is some light freckling.Specifications
