11/7/24 - This is a beautiful example of a Commemorative Colt Single Action Army Revolver special edition honoring Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce Indian Nation. 7.5" barrel with a shiny nickel finish. One of only 75 made. "I Will Fight No More Forever" on the left side of the barrel, "Nez Perce - Chief Joseph 1877-1977" on the right side of the barrel. The entire gun features engravings of tradition Native American imagery, such as arrow heads, howling wolf, American Bison, tomahawk, and teepees. The cylinder features a portrait of Chief Joseph with a scene of Native Americans and Frontiersman. The cylinder also reads "Whitebird Hill - July 17, 1877", "Cottonwood - July 3, 1877", "Misery Hill - July 10, 1877", "Big Hole Basin - Aug 9, 1877", "Camas Meadow - Aug 20, 1877", "Bear Paws - Sept 30, 1877". The gun is in unfired condition with no wear. Comes in a plum velvet-lined wood presentation case.Specifications
