Description
12/17/24 - This is a scarce DWM "sneak" Luger issued to the Weimar-rea German police force. These are typically termed Sneak Lugers based on the lack of identifying manufactures markings and proof marks, which the Nazis did to disguise their early rearmament efforts. This one does have a DWM marked toggle, "Crown N" proofs throughout, and a Weimar-era "Waffen 66" proof. It also has the proper police attributes such as an added sear safety, magazine safety, and an "L.H.68" police unit marking on the front strap, which we believe indicates it was issued to the Air Surveillance Police of Hannover, Germany. It comes as a rig with a very nice 1933-dated police holster (the closure strap appears to have been slightly trimmed down), a luger tool (it has a mismatched police unit number on it), a mismatched police "Star K" magazine, and one blank magazine. The gun's finish rates about 93% with very minor high edge and muzzle wear and some minor spotty wear on the grip straps. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - small chip on the left side. Minty bore.Specifications
