Description
1/6/25 - From the collection of Jan Still, well-known author of collector resource books such as "Axis Pistols", "Third Reich Lugers", and more. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the Sill family. This is an excellent example of a rare 1939 Mauser Luger that was initially issued to the Nazi military and then diverted to the police force. The gun is all matching, has "Eagle 83" military proofs, and an added police sear safety. It comes as a rig with a 1940-dated police holster (numbered but not matching to the gun), a police-proofed Luger tool, one mismatched police magazine, and one blank Eagle 63 magazine. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. There is just very minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle and a few tiny spots of discoloration on the grip straps. Fitted with minty matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor frosting in the grooves.Specifications
