1/31/25 - This is a gorgeous example of a Colt Commando Revolver from 1944. According to the included Colt factory letter, it was delivered to the US Maritime Commission in San Francisco, CA on July 25, 1944. This gun has a 2 inch barrel, but the letter states it was shipped with a 4 inch barrel. So it was re-barreled at some point. The gun is in stunning condition with essentially no signs of wear or use. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Mint bore.
