3/4/25 - This is a very nice example of a very rare "Double Eagle" Sauer 38h issued to the Nazi military early during WW2. The is all matching and has the characteristic "Double Eagle 37" military acceptance proofs on the left side of the trigger guard. There were only about 1,000 of these guns made, and according to Jim Cate's Sauer Book, there are only about 50 known! This particular gun has been re-blued. There is not much actual finish loss, but there is some pin-pricking on the left side of the slide and the grip straps. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips and comes with one correct magazine. Near-mint bore.
