3/12/25 - So what is a "Fantasy Piece"? Basically, it is a polite way of saying fake or made-up. This luger has a Krieghoff toggle (and perhaps other HK parts) but has a Mauser frame. It was then renumbered and refinished to match. Likely some of the proof stamps were also re-applied. So what is it worth? If we add up the sum of the parts, we think we have at least $2,000 in parts here. The grips are probably reproduction. The magazine is wartime, and 122 E/37 proofed, but un-numbered.
