Description
4/9/25 - This is a rare transitional Colt 1911 that was manufactured in 1924. Fewer than 10,000 Colt 1911s were made that year, and they are known to have transitional features from the 1911 to the 1911A1. This one has a barrel that is correctly marked with intertwined HP marking. The entire gun has been refinished with a dark, blackish-colored bluing. This finish was partially removed on the left side of the gun. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with a two-tone magazine. The condition of the bore is poor - the riling is noticeably worn with heavy pitting throughout.Specifications
