Description

4/10/25 - This is a Belgian New Model Type II pocket pistol from the 1920's. Chambered in 6.35mm. All matching with the proper Belgian proofs. It comes with the original copy of the WW2 capture paperwork that lists this gun by serial number and names the American GI who captured it, Anthony Hominik. Our consignor did research on this GI and found some information that is included in the photos. You will see Anthony's Registration Card, his Enlistment Record, his Death file, a newspaper clipping about John, and a photo of his head stone. Interestingly enough, he worked for Remington at the time he signed up for the draft. The gun has lost nearly all of its finish with light brown patina and some fairly heavy pitting here and there. Fitted with period-correct horn grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has pretty rifling, but there is light pitting throughout.
