Description
4/28/25 - This is a very nice example of a Pre-WW2 Belgian FN Browning High Power. It is all matching, has the proper Belgian proofs, and has the correct early features, such as a slotted frame and tangent rear sight. It comes as a rig with an un-numbered wood shoulder stock and an extraordinarily rare full leather carrying holster for both the gun and stock. It also comes with three proper magazines and a rare leather magazine pouch. It also comes with a set of WW2 capture documents. The original capture docs list a Belgian pistol (no serial number) and the name of the GI who captured it, Frank Cousins. Mr. Cousins happened to receive a Silver Star during WWII. While the capture docs don't list this gun by serial number, there is also a firearms registration form that is written and signed by Frank Cousins - it is dated 1978, lists the gun by serial number, and explains that Frank acquired it during WWII. The gun itself has an old re-blued finish and shows only minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore has good rifling with just minor frosting in the grooves.Specifications
