SOLD - FN Browning High Power - With WW2 Capture Doc

4/29/25 - This is a FN Browning High Power pistol issued to the Nazi military during WW2. All matching with the proper "Waffen 140" military acceptance proofs. This is an earlier variation with an adjustable tangent rear sight. The frame is not slotted. This one also comes with the original copy of the WW2 capture paperwork that lists this gun by serial and the GI who captured it, Clyde Cullen. Our consignor did research on this GI and found some information that is included in the photos. You will see Clyde's Registration Card, Registrar's Report, and a newspaper clipping about Clyde. The gun itself has retained roughly 75-80% of its original finish. There is finish loss on the grip straps, spotty wear and pin-pricking along the slide, and some light spotty oxidation here and there. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a "Waffen 140" proofed magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is light pitting throughout.
