4/14/25 - This is a very nice example of a scarce WB-marked Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1942. The slide is numbered and matching. It is "United States Property" marked and has "WB" inspector initials. "Colt 45 Auto" barrel with a large "G" under the lug. The gun's finish rates about 94% with just minor general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some very minor thinning and light brown patina on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct reddish-brown plastic grips and comes with one magazine. The bore generally has great rifling, but there are some spots with minor pitting in the grooves.
