Description

4/14/25 - This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 manufactured in 1943. It is all-correct, has the proper "United States Property" marking, and the proper US military cross-canon cartouche. This one, however, has British proofs throughout, indicating it was part of the WW2 British Lend-Lease Program. "RELEASED BRITISH GOVT 1952" marking on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 98% of its parkerized finish with just hints of high edge wear and some very light surface scuffs here and there. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a post-war magazine. Excellent bore.
