Description

4/25/25 - This is a nice example of Colt Government Model 1911 from 1917. It is all correct and has a "King Co. No 44" police unit marking on the right side of the slide. It comes as a rig with a nice tan leather shoulder holster, three magazines, and an original King County Deputy Sheriff Badge. The gun has retained roughly 65% of its original high polish bluing. There is honest wear throughout, concentrated mostly around the high edges and on the grip straps. Some spotty patina on the front strap as well. There is a small area of minor pitting on the right side of the frame. Fitted with very nice period-correct wood grips. The bore has great rifling with just very minor frosting.
