SOLD - Beautiful, Cased 1902 DWM Luger Carbine - Matching Stock

5/5/25 - This is a beautiful example of a DWM Model 1902 Luger carbine that is complete with it's original matching walnut shoulder stock. Approximately 2,500 were manufactured. All these early carbines exhibit the very desirable early features such the long frame, flat mainspring, grip safety, dished toggles, toggle lock on the right side, recessed/flat breech bolt, and flat straw colored extractor. One of the most unique features is the 11 3/4 inch carbine barrel with a detachable checkered forearm. The underside of the barrel is fitted with a small lug that engages a small spring actuator located inside the forearm that helps to cycle the heavier carbine barrel during firing. No other Luger has this feature. The top of the chamber is blank, and the front toggle has the standard DWM logo. Fitted with the correct 3-position rear sight (adjustable from 100-300 meters). The full serial number is correctly marked on the frame extension and barrel underside. The last digits of the serial number are discretely marked on the various parts in the correct commercial manner. Fitted with a set of un-numbered checkered walnut grips. It is complete with an original matching numbered walnut shoulder stock that has a fine checkered pattern in the grip area. Comes with one original commercial magazine with a correct unnumbered wood base. Matching number on the forend. We believe this gun has undergone a complete professional restoration and is in beautiful condition. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with some minor pitting in the grooves.
