Description
5/6/25 - This is a very unusual Navy luger in that it was rebuilt after WW1, using an original 1917 frame. It received a new barrel extension, as well as a new matching numbered barrel and matching magazine. It was then assigned to the Ost See Fleet, either late in the Weimar era or early in the Nazi era. It is all matching, to include the firing pin, grips, hold-open and original Navy toggle. Retains about 90% of the original finish, with most of the worn finish on the side plate and frame starting to patina. The bore is excellent. WW2 era German Navy pistols are difficult to find since most of them reside on the bottom of the Atlantic. This one served in both wars and survived, likely to be brought home by a returning GI.Specifications
