Description

5/8/25 - This is a nice example of a Mauser P.38 put together by the French using leftover Nazi parts immediately after WW2. The gun is all matching, has a French star on the right side of the slide, and has a Nazi Waffen 135 proof on the barrel. The underside of the tang and sides of the barrel lug have been polished. Fitted with desirable "grey ghost" metal grips that have been heat-treated to give them a rainbow-colored heat-stained appearance. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its finish with general high edge wear and thinning on the front strap. Very nice bore with good rifling. De-cocker is functional.
