Description
4/24/25 - This is a nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. The gun is mostly matching, but the side plate is mismatched. It was reworked after the war and issued to the Weimar-era German police. There is a "1920" government property marking on the chamber and an "S. D. VII. 1. 71." police unit marking on the front strap. The gun's original finish rates roughly 65% with general high edge wear and significant finish loss on the front strap. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - a couple of noticeable bruises / blemishes on the left side. Comes with a mismatched magazine. The condition of the bore is poor - very worn rifling with minor pitting throughout.Specifications
