Description
11/17/23 - This is a WW1 production Luger by DWM with some interesting history. Initially, this pistol was made for the German army in 1916. The finish is probably original but it may have been an arsenal refinish right after the war. The gun appears to be in all original condition except that the stock lug was ground off. Due to treaty obligations at the end of WW1, the Germans had to destroy, export or alter pistols to comply with new restrictions and regulations. The stock addition was viewed as a military threat and "upgrade" for the pistol, so the stock lug was ground off. There's mild patina throughout, mostly light speckling wear, and high edge / handling wear. Around 92-94% overall condition. The bore rates 6/10 with strong rifling but some mild corrosion within the grooves. The grips fit well and seem original but not numbered to the gun. Comes with a WW2 era magazine.Specifications
