Description

8/20/25 - This is an Allen & Wheelock side-hammer percussion pocket revolver from 1858-61 and chambered in .31 Caliber. It has a hammer mounted on the right side of the frame and a unique design where the trigger guard doubles as an ejector rod. There is a nice nature scene on the cylinder (~60% visibility). The gun is in nice condition overall, but there is attic patina throughout and some areas of pitting, most noticeable on the right side of the gun and on the cylinder. Fitted with nice wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is light surface rust throughout. The cylinder timing is off. No FFL required.
